Trattoria Fondi At The Grand At Bedford Village Inn

A bit tricky to find as the BVI property is massive, this cozy little Italian restaurant is worn away, only from the main lobby of the inn itself. It is relatively new and it is Christmas time, so it was very busy and when we arrived for our 6:45 reservation, we were told that our table was not ready as the previous party spoke. The hostess was beyond the recording and apologetic even gave us a round of drinks on the house when we waited, although we were good and patiently waiting. The menu is small but offers some delicious and innovative dishes. As a traditionalist, I ordered homemade pasta and meatballs that came out with shrimps instead of meatballs honestly, I would not even have sent it back if I had no affection against seafood. I sent it kindly back and it became (a completely new court) relatively fast and, on the house too (it was my birthday and the server felt terrible, although I am sure it was just an innocent mistake). The food was fantastic, the service amazing and the ambience comfortable and warm. You can expand the menu and I hope they do as more options would be great, but it is still really great as it is.

No one does that in the area. It's fantastic. Rustic and very well thought out Italian with incredible ingredients. Nothing in general in this place. Really great supplement. I had about 70% of the menu so far, you will be impressed! Very recommended, enjoy!

My friend and I met here for dinner and we thought this place was great! They took us 15 minutes before our reservation. The apps, pizzas, drinks and dessert were delicious. I got the veggie pizza. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very sweet and attentive. 10/10!

It is a lovely spot. The bar area is rather small but comfy. Same great selection of food as found in the main Restaurant so you can't go wrong.
