Herban Market And Cafe - Beaufort

I had a lovely experience at Herbal Market with a stunning waterfront view while sipping on a 16oz latte with 3 shots of espresso. The inviting atmosphere made for a perfect morning breakfast spot. I ordered the Breakfast Croissant which was served with a side of strawberries and orange wedges. The croissant was flaky and delicious, making for a delightful meal. Overall, I couldn't ask for more while enjoying my coffee and breakfast by the water.

This restaurant is a fantastic place with a beautiful view of the water from their outdoor patio. They also have a covered outdoor seating area, which is a nice touch. I ordered the vegan veggie wrap and it was incredibly delicious! My mom opted for the power salad and she absolutely loved it - it was so large that she couldn't finish it!

This place is amazing! It is difficult to find healthy and vegan options in this area, but this restaurant is a hidden gem. I just wish they had longer hours because I can never make it after work. Still, it is the best place in Beaufort!

The feel of this place is just right! Nobody seems stressed even though they are working hard. The owner and employees take time to have a conversation and make you feel at home. It is all part of the experience, not just the food. Most of the food here is fresh and made on-sight. Tons of prep and work! You know that it is a good place when there are crates of onions and sweet potatoes as well as an herb garden in front of the restaurant. Good food selections for vegetarians. Coffee choices are unique. Prices are very reasonable. Location is perfect. Outside dining is comfy. We went there 3 times in one day! Emily is a talented pastry chef. Can't wait to come back to Beaufort...

I might come back and give this place another shot, but my first experience eating here was just OK. Positives are that the food was definitely fresh, lovely plating, generous portions, quality ingredients for sure, but the overall meal was less than exciting. Lacked spice, honestly. I can't remember what we ordered, or what it was called (which perhaps is never a good sign) but we have a photo and you can see it was colorful and nutritious, and that's great! The pastries, however! Those deserve a special nod. They were lovely and delicious. Really great pastries. I don't know of anywhere else in Beaufort where you can get Kouign-amann. Teetering on a 4 star but waiting for the food to excite me a bit more.
