The best tacos ever! Actually, everything is amazing! Loves the cool artwork on the walls. The management staff is so friendly and amazing!!!
Large upscale decor modern meets traditional Korean vibe. They put a lot of thought and care in the decor. Responsive and friendly staff. When we got in, the music was too loud. I asked the waiter to turn off the volume a little what he did, but it was still too loud, so I asked him to turn off the music again what he did. It was too loud, but at least we could have a conversation, so I let it go. Oddly enough, it does not *seem* like a child-friendly place at the first Blush, but it is! The food is child-friendly, the staff is courteous and friendly, and the tables are low. We brought two children, and two other parties came to the restaurant, all with children... I couldn't believe it. The only non-child-friendly thing in this place is perhaps the price it is a little expensive to feed your young, but one of our children said I *love* the food here! So Dorawa gets a big sign for it! Unfortunately, good decoration is not cheap, and they are obviously trying to hit the high price point because the food is quite expensive. I can't get high prices. I personally believe that you can not put a price on good food, but the food here, while it is excellent, is not in line with the prices. I feel there are certain things on the menu that are simply too expensive for what they are. I can't see I ever come back for this reason. But the food we had was delicious, so I'm glad we came here once. Tater Tots [Parmesan Truffles]: A They're likely to sell 75 cents worth of tater dead for $9 for a crazy markup of 1.100%. But they use truffle oil and put Parmesan cheese on them, so maybe the markup is only about 1.050%. Nevertheless, they are delicious and very child-friendly. Come with the standard ketchup and a creamy paprika? Kanno based sauce I think? They are nicely cooked, the outside is crisp and inside is creamy potatoey, which is how Tater deaths should be cooked. Terrible. Smoked Pork Belly: An absolutely delicious! Standard Korean thin sliced pigs belly slices. They serve about 15 very thin cut pig bell cuts with some roasted garlic cloves. Oddly enough, a few slices were boiled in patches so I wonder if they were microwaves at every point during the cooking process. The garlic cloves were slightly boiled, because they were more meal than creamy. Like with the tater dead, they give you a few dollars worth pork belly and sell it for $22. Glass Noodle w Beef: An expertly cooked. The beef was obviously marinated because it was very soft and delicate with a lot of taste. Many delicious vegetables and the glass noodles were amazing. Our children loved it absolutely. Korean Fried Chicken: B It was OK. The white meat was a bit dry, which is unusual for Korean fried chicken. I was under the impression that Korean fried chicken was double fried that was 't. The bread was a bit embarrassing that it was a bit spicy. Ginger would have been nice. Dorawa Slider [beef]: F My slider and rolls were still some frozen. I couldn't eat it. My wife didn't complain, so maybe it was just mine that wasn't cooked. It didn't taste very meaty, and I don't know if it was because it was still partially frozen or because the meat was bad. Maybe the former because the rest of the food was high quality. However, it shows that the slide was probably microwave. The slider would have been "a lot better if it was actually grilled as you should cook sliders and hamburgers. Kim Pancake: B Standard kimchi pancakes. Delicious and beautifully presented. Very nice.
The atmosphere here in Dorawa is incredible, you always feel like your part of the intimate community. The food is delicious. I recommend the Bulgogi Tacos and the KFC. A stain on Bell Blvd.
So delicious! Authentic korean fusion dishes! Hummm yammy! Coming again and again!
