Old Hammond Cafe - Baton Rouge

I tried to give this place several times. it's black, so I'm trying to give my people a chance. but they always get my order wrong. first on the door that says it comes with 2 pages, but they make them pay for each side. ok bad marketing, but I'll pay. even if I order them always forget my drink or they send a dose instead of two, please two mac and cheese send them a mac cheese and cauliflower. his as after almost every order I contact door dash for something .. smh. yall have the opportunity to be good, get all their products and listen to their customers.

I tried this place several times bc ppl said how good it was eating. I'm sick. it will be a no for me. the greens had much too much edgy my mac n cheese tasted as if they had made it with this cheap light melted cheese. myhuh was dry, it was either cooked or reheated from the day before. I could go on, but I'm not. I still believe in the support of black shops, but eating must be improved.

I've eaten this place for the first time today. I ordered the smashed pork chops with green and carrots. I also ordered a piece of peach-cobbler. the place says the plate comes with 2x the pork chops. my whole plate was out. I just got one booze. the rice bed was half hard, the potatoes were replaced by spaghetti mac and cheese, which was terrible, and the peach cooker was replaced by a terrible tasting cheesecake. the green beans were okay. the only good thing about my order was that the black beak was cooked all the way away and the spelling. I'm not gonna eat here again. I was very disappointed and expected something completely different.

Website says open until 9:30 o'clock. they take out the orders when the kitchen closes at 8:45 .so we pulled at 8:30 .open sign is still illuminated....but doors locked. lighter out! never again! had a huge job too! they missed it!

Yes first time visiting an i love the fish we got.. Fresh an hot an the wing's were good too.. Will be back soon..
