Bombay Spice - Bassetlaw

I ordered the garlic chili chicken, but received tasteless chicken tikka and a generic curry sauce instead. I was very disappointed with my meal and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Visited on a Saturday, restaurant was almost empty. Starter was terrible- fish pakora- was like a soggy fish nugget with no flavour and it was gooey in places… nearly walked out after that but glad we stayed as when they mains came they were delicious, especially the chicken makhani. Garlic rice is the best I’ve tasted. Decor is a bit outdated and it’s not very clean either. Service was alright apart from one weird guy who came over and talked for ages and it was very awkward…. Would go again though regardless- although it would be a takeaway and eat it in the car

Always great indian cuisine very tasty dishes and they will tailor to your needs. Fish Shashlick and chicken makhani are the best

Since its refurbishment, there have been significant changes at Bombay Spice. While I have yet to see changes in the restaurant itself, the food quality has greatly improved. Congratulations to Bombay Spice for making it to the top of the list - other restaurants have some catching up to do. The food was outstanding and I couldn't find any faults. Thank you for a great experience.

We have eaten here for years and always had lovely food. It recently closed for a much needed refurbishment and due to the current Covid 19 situation we are unable to revisit so we had a takeaway. Never usually like takeaway as it's not the same but have to say this was probably the nicest one I've ever had. Loads of big chunks of chicken in it, tasty veg rice and plenty of salad with the starter which I love. Thanks Bombay!
