Bidrage med feedbackGreat Thai food in a pub with limited premium beers. very quiet at my first visit, but would recommend eating. could be with better beer selection
The freshest, most delicious food I've been eating since I moved to basingstoke, you can just tell them with the look and taste of it a lot.
Absolutely enjoy eating. delivery time as indicated by just eat was also exact. beef salad was amazing, fishcake and pad thai were excellent. will soon be ordered again. Thank you.
I ordered delivery through just eat. Saw their pamphlet on my door step and was craving some flavorful soup as I wasn’t feeling well. The ordered arrived in 15mins, which was surprising as on the website it was showing one hour. We were happy but when we opened the food except the crackers nothings tasted good. We ordered two Tom yum soup as it’s our go to from any Thai place. But trust me this is the worse I have ever had. No lemon grass, no galangal and no kaffir…. are you serious??? How is it even a Tom yam soup then. It was just flavored water with few mushrooms, prawns and cherry tomato. I was so disappointed we paid 14 pounds for that : we also ordered Pad Pring so we thought let’s try that, might be better but again disappointed the Pad pring had three chillies on the menu shown for the spicy level but this wasn’t even close to spicy nor there was salt, it was just bland. Paid nearly 30GBP for this food. Biggest regret ever. Please don’t write “taste of Thailand” on the menu when it’s not even close to it.
I visited here very recently, we sat upstairs in the restaurant part. We were given some complimentary prawn and thai crackers whilst waiting for our food. We ordered Thai fish cakes and scallops, the names are different on the menu, it took about 22 mins for the starters to arrive but were well worth the wait, well presented and very very tasty. The Mains were quicker, we had the Thai burger, which was a bit spicy with bacon and cheese, also we had the crying Tiger which was sirloin steak cooked and cut on a bed of hot and sizzling vegetables and very tasty, and also we had the drunken noodles with prawn all very delicous. The atmosphere differs here from other restaurants as it is at the top of a pub but the food is definitely worth the visit.
