The Greyhound Pub - Barnet

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. My partner has a garlic allergy and they were very accommodating by giving us regular mashed potatoes instead. I was very impressed. This was the first pub I visited in England and it was definitely a great choice!

This recently reopened restaurant is absolutely stunning. It is incredibly clean, especially the restrooms, and the tables are not sticky. The restaurant features a large fireplace and spacious sofas, as well as plenty of seating at the bar. They offer a variety of classic English dishes, as well as vegan and vegetarian options, including sandwiches, salads, burgers, and a children's menu. There is parking available for approximately 10 cars in the front.

The restaurant offers excellent beverages and delicious food in a classic pub atmosphere. We enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the vegetable strudel, both of which were fantastic.

The staff at this restaurant were friendly and welcoming. I went for the Sunday roast and found it to be delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any dessert.

This is my third update on my review of this pub. I have been a fan of this pub for years and really enjoy it. The current team is decent, but they seem to struggle with keeping the men's restroom smelling fresh. The music in the lower bar was quite loud, causing the dozen people in there to shout at each other. Despite the manager's reluctance to lower the volume, playing a quieter track allowed for conversation.
