Casa do Sushi - Barcelos

Great vibe and fabulous sushi. Had a combo plate and my first time trying sangria; it didn’t disappoint! Great dessert as well!

Amazing service and even better food! Great presentation and the freshest sushi in Portugal. Would 100% recommend for anyone who loves sushi or is new and looking for a great place to try!

Awesome food, drinks, ambiance, and staff. Definitely recommend and will eat here every time I visit Barcelos. I didn’t know what was best so I tried their “Combo 1” which has 16 different units, all great! Since sushi isn’t for everyone, they also have a pasta menu which can be personalized to your own preference in style, sauce, and ingredients.

When it first opened I was very excited, as it is so very hard to find even BAD sushi in Barcelos. The place itself looks nice (not my style) and the people are friendly.. Alike many other places that serve buffet you cannot choose what you get, so I am not taking that into account in my score; the food though... was quite bad, The fish was ok 'ish, the rice was very bad and poorly pressed. This combined with the annoying trendiness fad of fusion made this a no go place for me. Maybe they were having a bad day, maybe not, what I know is that, for me, Barcelos will remain sushi-less.

Booked by The Fork , we had some issues, although we received mail confirmation, the restaurant didn 't had the confirmation by the time we arrived. We also had some issues with the location because TripAdvisor sent us to the old coordinates even though the address was correct. Fortunately the new location is very near. Back to the restaurant, the staff was very nice and arranged a table for us 4, two adults and two children. The sushi is great, very tasty and fresh. He had 72 pieces and was enough for all. At Wednesdays they also have an all you can eat plan. Go for it.
