Silver Dragon Restaurant - Banff

We went to Silver dragon restaurant in Banff for our anniversary dinner, with few more family members. The entire experience was very pleasant, with a good team serving the customers. The food is excellent in quality and quantity, and the overall experience is very satisfying

Extensive menu in English and Chinese. It seems they have been around since 1998. Lots, if not all, the Asian tour buses pop by for group meals. Very busy - best to make reservations.

Went there last monday, we assumed it was similar to the calgary location. Thought they would have dim sum. Asked waiter if they offered dim sum, told us only have 2 dishes. That was fine. Was more upset at the time of payment. Went up to cashier for the bill. as he was processing the bill he was mumbling something to another waiter. I dont understand thier language but indo understand body language. He didnt even hand me the debit machine instead walked it to another table set it down and goes 'here, here'... Id rather spend my money on bear claws and mcdz down the trail then $20 on siomai.

We have been to this restaurant during most of our visits to Banff! Last visit we found out that their price has increased and their portion has decreased! Taste is ok. Might not be visiting that often any more.
