Sunday Lunch was very tasty a bit steap though at R120 per person no discounted rate for youngsters and no pudding either. Maybe a malva and custard perhaps to justify the cost. All in all a wonderful atmosphere with friendly staff and the food was well prepared.

The only place to buy your meet and your biltong from. Had without a doubt, the very best RIB EYE steak from them. One of the many reasons I am now glad to be living in the Midlands!

If you are on your way down from Johannesburg and want to stop at somewhere that is not one of the fast food junk outlets(just after Mooi River is the Nottingham rd off ramp turn left and immediately turn left again The staff happy to serve; log fire mmmm ;Hot chocolate absolutely yummy. Les had the trout salad which was really out of this world I had the fillet steak chips and veg;steak was perfect ,the chips were not from the freezer and the veg was scrumptious Price cheap cheap NB Sunday is a carvery and you have to book as it is very popular
