Rock Hill Pizzeria - Bala Cynwyd

They catered a party for us recently and all our guests were raving about the food. Delivered everything promptly. Would recommend for catering.

We just hosted our daughter’s third birthday party here, and I’ve got to say, everything was wonderful! They set up their little private party room for us. The pizzas were delicious. New York style thin crust. They let us bring our own cake. And they were helpful and professional every step of the way. Great people over at Rock Hill! If you’re in the Manayunk/Roxborough/Wissahickon area, pop over that Green Street Bridge and show them some love.

I 've been living near Rock Hill Pizzeria for about a year and a half now. Today, Super Bowl Sunday, I stopped in and I think I have now tried a slice of everything. The only slice that didn 't sit well with me is the cheesesteak pizza. Today, I tried a taco slice and I was sure I would hate it....it was not bad. But, I 've never been a fan of specialty pizzas.I 've lived all over the country for work and I try to find what is in my opinion the best and most consistent pizza shop anywhere I go. This place has really great pizza. I have a hard time picking a favorite. A normal NY slice with pepperoni is on point with what I 've had in NYC. I lived in Chicago for about 4 years, the Chicago slice is not even close to what I had there, but it is better (I do not like true Chicago style that you have to eat with a knife and fork). The Sicilian is a hefty slice....the dough is airy, the cheese consistent, and just the right amount of sauce.Saved the best for last.....The Grandma and their NY style Tomato. I will inevitably have to relocate and move away for work at some point. I will miss these two. The only way I could imagine someone not liking the Grandma is because of the sliced garlic (not me....I love it for that). The chunky sauce on the grandma and crispy crust are just something you have to experience and it cannot be put into words. The NY style tomato has a nice thin layer of cheese on the dough, then topped with a semi-sweet sauce and sprinkled with seasonings. I can totally eat either of those two cold it is that good.The staff is always extremely friendly. Today is super bowl day and they were busy.....I honestly didn 't wait any longer than normal....they had their A game.Only thing I 've had besides the pizza is their salads. It is not named Rock Hill Salads, but the salads are big, heavy on toppings, and all I 've had to do is just order extra dressing due to the size of the salads.Hope my input helps.

When I say the food was phenomenal, it was so good! I had a chicken cheesesteak, and my son had a sausage and pepperoni pizza both so tasty. The cheesesteak was the best I had in a long time if you’re in the area make sure to stop by. I’ll sure will be back to try something else. Let’s not forget about the two young ladies and their great customer service thank you.
