Balaton was fantastic. Authentic Hungarian food cooked to perfection. The Paprikash, goulash and stuffed cabbage were incredible. Reminds me of grandma’s cooking. This is a family run business with a great atmosphere. Definitely going back. Fried flat bread a must. Remember to make reservations.

What an amazing restaurant! I was excited to try this place for dinner.. PLEASE NOTE MUST HAVE RESERVATIONS especially for dinner. The place is small and quaint. The first thing you notice when walking in is the delicious aroma of all the food. We did not have reservations I didn’t know prior and the hostess graciously seated us in between reservations. The menu is extensive with Hungarian cuisine… chicken paprikas, cabbage and noodles,Wiener schnitzel, and so much more….. If you have room for deserts they were huge …. So you can share for sure!!! Limited Alcohol choices and only have one house dressing .

If you want authentic Hungarian food this is the place to go, a little on the pricey side but well worth it. They are not skimpy on the portions by any means, there is always leftovers for another meal. The house salad dressing is fantastic as well as the chicken paprikash.
