Bidrage med feedbackThis is real italian cooking. Elisa in the kitchen making amazing dishes for lunch everyday Mon-Sat. The menu changes each day and is listed on a blackboard. It is difficult to translate, because the names are names of dishes and not ingredients, but they are very helpful and do their best to explain/describe the dishes. We ate everyday for lunch and had amazing food. Everything was delicious. You can't make a wrong choice. The restaurant is at the back of the establishment. The front is open all day and serves drinks, coffee and snacks. It has been in the family for three generations.
This restaurant is family run it is very friendly. The decor is charming suave stylish as is the fayre. We were first invited many years ago by English friends and an Italian cousin I remember that we even once played tombola there one Easter. This restaurant has now returned to the daughter of the owner having been run for a few years by other people. It is a family friendly venue with typical Tuscan food. No more TVs so it is a lot quieter than before. The Bar is as usual right next to the eating area so on busy days you can opt to have coffee at the bar. It offers a good dining experience as most restaurants in the area.
If you're near Bagni di Lucca at lunch time you can't get better. Different menu each day, great local cooking and really friendly staff. Local workers and residents have their lunch here every day...that speaks volume
This is another of my favourite restaurants in the Villa part of Bagni di Lucca. This is a small, traditional restaurant, with a small menu, but the quality of the cooking is well worth a try, plus it 's good value too. I 'd recommend you go for the working lunch... I think this is around 11 euros for two courses (prima piatti, plus secondo (usually with 'contort (veg of some kind and coffee and it usually includes a quarter of a litre of wine or water... anyway, that should give you an idea. Just to warn you though, that there aren 't any menus as we 'd know it... there 's a board and it 's all in italian... so just take your time, the waitresses are lovely and you 'll get there in the end it 'll be worth it. Finally you can also have dessert but that 's extra, but good to try if you have room. My husband can recommend the panecotta!
At the front is a sandwich, snack bar at the back is the restaurant. Homemade food which is delicious and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
