Sachsenhof-stüberl, Bad Elster Neben Dem König Albert Theater

We wanted to make our own picture of the restaurant despite the many bad reviews. Unfortunately, we can confirm ALL negative. After ordering a soft Pils, I got a normal white beer. Then I got a beer from different bottles. Then the food! I've rarely eaten something more bad. So I'll never eat again in this restaurant. In the end, we didn't have to pay for the food.

But we had to wait 40 minutes until we were able to order our drinks at all, and even though we were asking more often (it was not much on the day). The portions of the food were too small for the money.

Unfortunately, my last night in Bad Elster was thoroughly spoiled here, everyone has a bad day, but I haven't experienced such unfriendly staff for a long time. The waiter managed to bury at least 15 guests within 20 minutes because he did not want to serve partout outside. Apparently you can afford this...

We didn't get any space out there, but it was also cozy inside. We were served quickly and politely. After a very short waiting period, our chosen food and drinks came to our table. The staff was courteous and friendly.

Cellar with moderately sticky air, nice ambience, good choice. However, friendliness leaves to be desired; you get to feel clearly that every few weeks new spa guests come so “normal” the guests are very distinctive and unfriendly to dictate unconscious misconduct verbally. Very bad!
