The Wetterburg - Bad Arolsen

Here we eat several times, with up to 8 people. It is an experience that you should not miss if you are close. The ambience of an old castle, food plentiful, the staff simply nice and friendly. Everything else should be read on their website.

Authentic restaurant with a lot of history. the food was good, and the waiter was very friendly. it took a little long before the food was served, but that was understandable, the waiter and the food prepared for it.

We never had the chance to try that. 2 hours waiting for the suppe! and then they give it up. we had a diabetic in our midst, he could no longer wait for food. paid for drinks and left. that was the worst. restaurant I've ever been, disgusting. don't go back, they don't earn a second chance!

I live near this restaurant and have eaten here with colleagues of work at some places. eating is of good quality, but the architecture of this massive stone building makes eating unique here. it is not so crowded and has a medieval...feeling on it. I'm thinking about how it's eaten in an old castle.

The restaurant is located in an old castle. the atmosphere is great. on Wednesday, they turn off all the lights and use nothing but candles. the food and service were very good, and the local beer was excellent. I would strongly suggest visiting the weather castle if they have a large group that wants to experience one night, about which you will speak for a long time!
