This Wetherspoons restaurant is above average, with a quirky atmosphere and many original features of the old building still intact. The quality of the beer was good and the prices were reasonable.

Great eating and drinks, friendly staff. had an amazing burger and drinks not overpriced like other pubs and bars. I look forward to the return.

They have really resigned with gusto, as the restrictions have loosened during Covid-19. they ensure that they collect track and track details (in contrast to some other local pubs! Moreover, they have decent perspex screens up, which do not make them feel jammed. Bar staff are friendly without cloging, and they accept the Mon-Weds help to eat from scheme for august. highly recommended!

While it is a pricier pub than other local facilities like wetherspoons, it is a much more pleasant atmosphere. we enjoyed watching the football, eating is good and we were served by the most friendly barman I ever know (shortly haare wearing a red and black tested hemd when they read! . also a few billard tables, a dart board and board games. a great place for us to enjoy some drinks after work and we will return.
