Paige’s Bistro Austell

First, I would like to start by saying the cashier was very friendly. She greeted us as soon as we got to the cashiers desk asked us if we were ordering in or dining out. The ordering was not difficult at all. Everything on the menu was clear on what you were getting, I ordered the five wings with the fries that came with mac cheese, diced jalapeño and diced chicken. The wing flavor that I chose was hot honey garlic. I also ordered a mango lemonade. Let me start With the food, the chicken was old and overly saturated with a lot of SALT. It was not seasoned through and through it taste like the season salt was poured on top of the already battered chicken. I asked for my sauce to be put on the side it was not, and I also asked for my chicken to be fried extra crispy it was not it was very soggy, the chef did come and tried to remake the wings which came out and those wings were also discolored and very salty as well. The reason why I gave the atmosphere of the restaurant a one star was because there is an employee door only inside of the restaurant where you can sit next to a table of games the area smelled like 1,000,000 wet dogs . It was very hard to sit through and finish my meal. The mango lemonade, taste like cool Kool-Aid with a splash of lemon juice, which I was highly disappointed because it is homemade I wish that food would have been better but I appreciate the customer service. I will not be trying this again.

The food is entirely too salty. The fish sandwich tasted like it could have been good if they used less salt. Same goes for the mac cheese. Use less Tony Cachera's or Slap your momma and add in other seasonings to bring out the cajun flavors. That over the top salty taste is from using too much of seasonings that already have an enormous amount of salt.

Order shrimp baskets NO salt, it was so salt I had to peel off the breading to eat the shrimp. Nice portions just to salty.

Had been wanting to stop here for the longest. I ordered a 12pc fried shrimp with Cajun fries. Got to my location (5 min) and was very disappointed with the shrimp. The breading came off of each one of the shrimp, it wasn't cooked long enough. I threw it out and wont go back.
