Albergo Cacciatori - AURONZO DI CADORE

On holiday in Cadore with friends we stop to take advantage of some facilities for fun and then we decide to ask the waiter for the day's menu with a specific request, recommended by friends, for fresh mushrooms. The very rude and arrogant reply was look at the menu, then after 10 minutes we decide to have lunch and the waiter replies that if we have not booked there is no place and that even if we had asked for the menu they could not know that we wanted to eat (the waiter or owner? with total mockery with arrogance and rudeness. The dishes seen running on the tables had an inviting aspect ... what to say .. rudeness and arrogance do not deserve any vote. beware maybe there are better restaurants in the area. ;

We had dinner here whilst staying in the hotel. The meal was very nice and the service was friendly. Anyone staying or passing through and looking for a place for dinner, this would be a good choice.

We very much enjoyed a unique spin on local fare. Offered a good variety, and waiter was very helpful. Had an exceptional warm apple strudel with pistachios for dessert. Modest surroundings belie the good quality food and service.

I've been to this restaurant several times. I always ate well. traditional food cooked good and generous portions, accurate service and prices. recommended recommended

Restaurant recommended by friends. we opted for game dishes and mushrooms. Really good. Perhaps the prices are a high watermark
