Silver Salmon Grille - Astoria

We came to astoria for my birthday weekend. silver salmon greeted us and gave us a table even without reservation, after he had turned away from the dinner club because he had no reservation, and carruthers had skipped because of their standing on the vaccine at the house door. eating is amazing! I had the tortellini with black laughs, and I have to say how incredible this laugh was. everywhere else you go “black” means dipped in black pomp, that was not the case with silver salmon, it was legitimately damped, crispy and absolutely perfect! not too spicy and not too fishy. my mother steak was made perfect and her desserts are dying! I didn't think a picture of my meal before, but here's the chocolate peanut buttercake. (so it is worth it! so pleasantly surprised by her friendliness and her wonderful eating. can not wait to come back to the opposite and visit them again.

Met a friend here for dinner for my first experience. The food and overall experience was good enough to return with my wife for a date. I had a different dish each time and they were both amazing as was my wife's. The service was great and the seating was comfortable. Lots of cool paintings to admire while we were there. Definitely a new favorite place when I can afford it.

We had visited the Sunday Farmers Market wanted to grab a bite before heading home…about a 2hr drive west. We had eaten here before were pleased so we decided to do it again. It didn’t disappoint it was too busy we got a table for two right away. We ordered food drinks at the same time. Drinks arrived food wasn’t that far behind. Our waitress was attentive quick. Food was what we had expected. The burger had great flavor the Cuban as well. The coleslaw was also yummy was added to the Cuban itself. Had to get dessert carrot cake to go but then we decided to share the peanut butter chocolate pie dessert before leaving…that was a terrible idea (lol) as we had no room for it all but we got it handled. Overall an excellent option for food if wondering the streets of Astoria.

The food was delicious! The flavors were spectacular. The portions were sized approximately. The cheese breqd appetizer had great flavor. They did a great job with the deserts and the birthday plate for our daughter. Reservations are definitely recommended. The ambiance of the entire place was very relaxing. Our server wasn't as personable as I would expect from an establishment of this stature. Not sure if he was over booked or what.

Update 2022-02-14: reducing to 3 stars We got the lunch version of the Salmon Your Way and turns out there are no choices (rice only) and felt like it was more of an appetizer size for a high price Beware about ordering food before 4pm! Previous review: Great food. Loved the "Salmon Your Way They gave me a lot of choices to really make it my way It was delicious. We also tried the Pecan Pie with ice cream desert. A bit too chocolatey for me but pretty good. Beware that these deserts are large! Good thing we could share this with 2. We probably should have pulled in a third to share it with. Friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back to test more dishes on the menu and test their Happy Hour items.
