Bidrage med feedbackWe dont like the Brit Pubs in the strip across from the Arona Gran Hotel, they do seem to attract the type of customer that has to sit flaunting a naked beer belly while eating their meals and I find it very off-putting. We also dont go in for the Full English breakfast, but on a couple of occasions, before going to the Sunday Market, we went to the Union Bar and the food was exceptional. They offer lovely fresh and healthy food. I particularly like their fresh fruit salad and yogurt, and although ever so slightly more expensive than the places that sell the €1 pint (Union’s is €1.50) you get a far better quality of food along with decent tea and coffee. Served in cups not those horrible thick mugs that are offered a couple of doors down Yuk! Highly recommend trying if you want a change from the greasy spoon
Think this may have changed hands .as seems to have different staff..but young lady that served us was very pleasant..and the breakfast was nice fresh ingredients.so will be back
We have visited the Union cafe bar now on several occasions since we found it and it has never once let us down. Krystina and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, been a native from the parmo area I have to say they are every bit as good if not better than you get back in Blighty. Definitely one of the best in Los Cristianos.
We visited this lovely little cafe bar nearly every day of our two week holiday in Los Cristianos. We were made so welcome and with the really nice and different food from the typical bars around here plus the good prices made it a magnet to keep coming back. The menu is restricted, but what they offer is really very good. We return for a week in October and will be there every day for a coffee, beer or a snack.
We've eaten here twice in three days, it is that good. Found in the strip of bars opposite the Sunday Market area with more stand out neighbours it would be easy to walk by and go to another. If you do, you will miss out on meeting some genuine and very nice Spanish and Northern English people who serve excellent food and at great prices. €8 for a bottle of decent white rioja, €4-50 for a healthy salad€1-50 for a pint of unhealthy but great tasting cold beer. We're going back for sure and a great alternative to some of the c##p we've been served up at one of the neighbours. We also had a pasta dish here the second time, made by a genuine Italian chef that was also truly excellent.
