We drove through arnas on the way to le perreon when my wife discovered this hidden gem. our French experience has been good so far, but not great. the language barrier was hard, so the order of a typical French meal was hard. until we found Le...Bistrot d'arnas. the food was fantastic and mike the owner spoke perfectly English, to a point where I asked him from which part of england he came. I'm sorry. mike we had a set menu, escape, a fantastic garden salad with a pate, brot, main, slowly boiled pork with the best caramel cake I had, dessert, a choice of either a beere mousseel. not to mention large coffee and icey cold paulan beer on hahn. it was so good and the price was twice as high. the owner mike is a great guy. he made our france journey to remember. Australian people have to accept them for life. make them a break, stop them to lunch and enjoy the experience. the work will always be there when you come back.
