Bidrage med feedbackFor me, a good pizza has to have a great sauce. Not the kind that tastes like it came out of one of the gallon tin cans. It has to have zest and good seasoning. And the cheese has to have flavor. Eagle excels at both. I can tell when eating it that the cheese isn 't the cheapest they could find. My favorite pie here is getting the extra large (a little thinner crust than the large pie with extra sauce, and I have them make it 'golden brown ' on top. (Keeps the cheese in place with all the extra sauce. It has yet to disappoint me over the 10 years I 've been getting it. Pie is full of flavor. We never have leftovers it is so good. It isn 't the cheapest pie in Havertown, but made the way I describe above, it will be one of your top go to pizza 's when you want something better than the run of the mill stuff other places sell on Darby Rd or West Chester Pike. Been a customer here since 1984.
The pizza is hot fresh and super tasty and perfect crust. The cheesesteak and chicken fingers are also super. Highly recommend. The owner is also super nice and welcoming.
Just moved to this area two weeks ago and have ordered 3 times already! Everything is fresh hot. They listen to you and make everything exactly as requested. It's really a great neighborhood place for pizza burgers, etc. Thanks to all the staff that are so friendly welcoming.
There is nothing that compares to Eagle Pizza pizza. And when getting pizza, throw in some jalapeno poppers because they're amazing. We have literally never had a disappointing order here. If you're by yourself and need some comfort food pick me up of if you're getting pizza for your whole little league team they'll be amazing, get the order done as fast as possible, communicate with you an will deliver amazing pizza.
We were frequent customers in the 90’s until we left the area in 2000. Always thought highly of the pizza and when I found myself in the area yesterday, I ordered a XLarge 1/2 sausage, 1/2 pepperoni. The robust flavor was as remembered but we found the crust lacking in that it is so very thin compared to what we enjoyed years earlier. Not sure if that was a function of the XLarge size introduced after we left the area or if there was an intentional change to all pizza offerings. On balance, it was good but we all agreed last night that it was not the “Original” Eagle pizza we remembered. Perhaps I’ll try a smaller size given a future opportunity.
