Bidrage med feedbackOne star awarded, cause its the minimum! After the refurb, I thought i'd give Titash another chance Arrived for a table that we pre-booked, we waited 15 minutes for this. I don't mind as it's common at most restaurants. The new decor is an improvement, however a tad seedy Moving on, staff were polite, however the food was not only overpriced, but more importantly of a very poor quality. Overcooked Lamb, Under seasoned and unbalanced spices. Also very oily! The best thing about this restaurant was the attentive staff and the naan bread and obviously the drinks. Titash, new chef needed or re-train him/her.
Læs mereThis Indian is a great restaurant with some very authentic dishes on the menu. The prices are really reasonable and the portion sizes are really good, there is defiantly always enough for breakie the next day yum yum!! My recommendation would be the house chicken tikka masala, which is hot hot hot but gorgeous and one of my favourite foods in the world. the staff are really nice, and also i find them a credit to the restaurant and to the community especially as they get a lot of the drunks go in there late at night and they oput up with a lot of rubbish and racism they are truley great professionals!!
Læs mereHave been here for the reception at a couple of weddings, the interior is really nice the decor is good and it's not too big, quite intimate. the food is also really good, lots of flavor and good service.
Læs mereHave eaten here once and would never go again! The tables are so close together there is no privacy, the whole time we were in there eating our meal the TV was on, and we waited a long time for our food, which was not that nice when it arrived! Also it is very expensive compared to other Indian Restaurants in the area! The staff were however very attentive, just a shame the food didn't live up to the same standard!
Læs mereThis used to be one of my favourite restaurants. The menu lists some superb dishes which are beautifully cooked and tasty. The restaurant is contemporary in design with a pleasing ambience and is child friendly, although it can be very noisy and the music can be over bearing, so that you have to shout to be heard. it is quite unpleasant and the management seem to increase the volume so it is heard above the noise of people talking. If you like your curry hotter or milder, the chef will accommodate you. Definitely a good place to go for dinner. We drive about 40 miles to get there and so are quite hungry on arrival! Dinner for two (2 courses, plus drinks and coffee is about £25 £27. You will eat well, although portion sizes are smaller than they used to be. What I can say is that the popularity of the place speaks for itself. It is one of the busiest restaurants we have visited, especially on a Saturday, so you will need to book to guarantee a table. My advice is to avoid Saturday evenings as the tempo is quite frenetic and the staff have less time for the sort of friendly banter that first endeared the place to us. Even with the decline in standard and portion size, it still remains worth a visit but not at weekends. One cautionary note: if you pay by card, check your bill carefully as the odd £5 has been sneakily added. We like to think it happens due to the pressure of business :
