Rubio's Coastal Grill - Anaheim

I grew up in the restaurant business and can certainly understand and appreciate all that goes into orchestrating and executing a consistent quality product to the consumer. My neighborhood Rubio's is actually walking distance from my house, and I frequent it once to 5 times a month. They are always friendly and say hello when I walk in. Typically, I order one of several seafood protein bowls. My issue is how the dish looks when I get it. It happens both at dine-in or take out. Since we are in football playoffs, I'll say my meal often looks like it was delivered via a backward lateral pass to the back who threw a lame duck pass to the tight end who fumbles it after two football moves resulting in a dog pile wrestling match for my protein bowl. Ok, that might have been a little excessive. Truthfully, there is a huge difference in plate presentation execution between visits. It has always been important to me that a meal looks like it was put together with care and not like someone was angry at me or whoever. Not a hard fix-please try. Thanks

Awful experience. Been almost a WEEK and STILL have not received a reply... Management must be as bad as the crew working the night we went.

I've seen some highly inappropriate behavior from young employees working here some of which involving customers. I sent in a review on the website reporting the scene I saw and got absolutely no response. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Been eating at Rubios for more than a decade at this point. They have good tacos and burritos. Everything usually taste fresh and warm. Service is friendly and fast. Its a good fast casual American- Mexican food. You really can't go wrong with it. Will return!

Walk in and make eye contact with a guy holding a bag of lettuce I say, what 's up He puts down the lettuce and walks fast straight to the clock, says nothing, clocks out. Walks past me, sits down at one of the tables and begins scrolling on his phone I wait a couple minutes for someone to take my order I leave cause no one takes my order and I only have 30 minutes for lunch
