Bruegger's Bagels - Amherst

I had a delightful experience at Bruegger's Bagels. The variety of flavors and styles offered was impressive. It was my first time trying their food and I sampled the Sriracha Honey Sunrise and the smoked salmon signature bagels. The staff was very accommodating and allowed me to customize my order by adding plastered bacon and chicken sausage to my first bagel. The Sriracha bagel was a bit greasy, so I wish it had been wrapped separately from the other bagel in the same bag. Unfortunately, there is currently no dine-in option, but delivery is available through a third-party service. Everyone at the restaurant wears masks and social distancing measures are in place, though there is no clear separation between customers.

I appreciate the efforts made by this restaurant to ensure the safety of their customers and workers during Covid. They have implemented measures such as barriers to keep you distanced from the workers and a separate exit. I love the variety of bagels and cream cheese they offer, and the food is delicious. My favorite is the salt bagel! The cinnamon sugar bagel is also divine. I also appreciate that they donate leftover bagels to local groups. The coffee is affordable and their iced coffee is just as good as their hot coffee, which is important in New England!

The bagels at this restaurant are pretty good and the prices are decent. They are one of the few places that still bake their own bagels. It can be seen as a positive or negative that they are not too large - you won't feel too full after eating one, but sometimes you may find yourself wanting a second one.
