Acquolina - AMANTEA

Really delicious gelato and granita with a magnificent view of the sea. they have over aromen of granita try the pistacchio, it is so good it tastes as if it genuine cream in it.

Acquolina amantea is the best! from the environment and location to everything they serve, it is a great experience! it is a beautiful and fun place in a beautiful location in amantea storico. her gelato, granita and drinks are the best we had in calabria. the employees of franco and paola and the rest are so friendly and nice. we had their special acqualina gelato on a brioche. it was incredible! we sat on a little sweet table with a look at amantea and the sea! we will miss this place before all others when we return to the usa!

I am starving, but this place deserves a mention and a special. Not only because it is a new Sicilian gelateria, but also because it is located in one of the magical and suggestive places of the opposite, on one side. the cathedrale and on the other a terrace with the city and sea view. bliss! I tried a traditional breakfast on the morning consisting of .granita and brioche! the granita (sorbet) of mandel and pistachios was velvety smooth and full of nutty taste. the joy of fresh and gusto, which was not quite sugary, was served with the traditional tuppo' brioche in the form of hairbunke. not the healthiest breakfast selection, but hey it is summer and the delicious granita is worth the sin. I have returned in hours to taste the pistachio ice cream (of provenienz certified and this is also delicious and of very high standard. everyone enjoyed the ice, the children had brioche with gelato and loved it (finger lick well). the service is polite and very affordable. the only negatiw is the amount of ice served both in their ice cups and in brioche. but maybe I'm just greedy!
