Mac's Downtown - Alton

We love Mac’s!! The atmosphere, the workers, the food.. it’s all so good! I love to hang out and grab supper with the kids, or do an adult night without the kids! Either way, always guaranteed a great time and experience! Ps.. chicken ceaser salad is the best I’ve ever had!!

Disappointed in the chicken Alfredo very dry no creamy news had it before was pretty good server was great atmosphere ok . The onion rings were good had one undone the one I gave my wife's coworker had raw flour and the burgers were, well , burgers nothing unique cool var and great service food was underwhelming this day for 7 people . Oh they do have off track betting here if you like the horses

Had seen this spot on FB, finally decided to check it out. The atmosphere was cool, you seat yourself, very spacious. Some of it is outside, which was nice. Service was ok, and I'm saying that because we were waiting a little bit before any one waited on us. They said it was a mix up on which waitress was supposed to be in our area, but Ok ?? Now, the food was ok, got garlic wings, that were a bit too greasy and not enough garlic, the monster BLT was ok, could use better bacon. Overall, not bad. OH, got pepper jack cheese balls that were good!

Wow, how disgusting their breakfast bar is. Every single thing was awful, some of our party just went back to the other restaurant because they ate nothing. Going down the list— 1. Smashed fruit right next to the shrimp 2. Shrimp that’s rubbery like catfish swimming in juices splashing onto the fruit 3. Scrambled eggs with awful texture 4. Sausage no flavor 5. Bacon good and crispy 50% of the time 6. Eggs Benedict hardened from sitting too long 7. Gravy that had a slight fishy taste 8. Prime rib super fatty with no flavor 9. Staff- brought drinks once, had to go to the bar for drinks after. Just don’t go….

Just door dashed lunch to my office and it was phenomenal. the BYOB build your own burger was top notch! Best quality burger I've had around the area.
