Athens Gyros - Alsip

Idk why everyone says the food is so good. I live right next door and won't eat there. I ordered an Italian beef and it came on a hotdog bun with a slice of cheese. Tired it again a few months later this time I tired a burger because its hard to mess it up, but the meat was unseasoned, and was very greasy. Would not recommend.

Athen's Gyros has a wonderful selection of food! I've enjoyed every single item I've ever ordered from them.

A friend catered Athens’ Greek chicken, rice, potatoes and salad for a dinner party a couple days ago and OMG I’m in Love! I was blown away by each dish! I had low expectations figuring it would be tasteless as usual but EVERYTHING tasted homemade just like my Greek neighbor ‘mom’ used to make. And believe me that is a HUGE achievement becuz I have eaten all over trying to find a restaurant that measures up to that authentic flavor.
