Bidrage med feedbackBetween JP, wafa and the magnificent food the bonjour is the place to eat! my wife and son had the garlic scallops to start and i the eagerly anticipated french onion soup. The scallops were sweet and tender and garlic butter was perfect not over strong. Where to start with the french onion soup, soft, sweet onions in a beautifully made reduced broth, the flavours were incredible. We had each of the chefs speciality mains, bouillabaisse, lamb shank tornadoes, beef bourguignon. the care and attention to detail to each of these dishes came through in each of the mouthfuls. plan to eat more than you have prepared for as we could not stop until the plates were clean. We had plans fore tomorrow night but we will be returning to try some different dishes as the it was too difficult to choose tonight, i can give Bonjour no better recommendation. If you enjoy good quality well cooked food in a relaxed home from home atmosphere then look no further.
The Phoenix has arisen! ‘Bonjour’ is what it’s now called. You definitely wont get indifferent frozen pizza, nor scampi frozen chips. You’ll get french food prepared by a real french chef, served by his charming partner. Lovely wines, excellent menu and super desserts. This is definitely on our list for future visits. ‘Bonjour’ is what Gran Alacant needs.
Just reopened after a hiatus. Perfect food as always and fantastic service. Family friendly and great prices. I had the steak and it was cooked exactly as I wanted.
We came to this place late at night and was welcomed with a smile and seated quickly. Food was great (I had the tuna steak and partner had the chicken). Service very good. We returned a couple of days later and again, cannot complain.
Cannot go wrong when they visit and don. a beautiful meal guaranteed. freshly cooked and happy to meet all food requirements. had never had a bad meal. a very friendly, cozy atmosphere, simply perfect for couples or families. ann and don are not different than beautiful. Always nice to catch with them when we come to Spain for our annual visit with the additional bonus of a fab meal xx
