Ordered the fried chicken ramen (volcano) amazing spicy broth that really had a kick to it. The fried chicken does get soggy in the broth but I was okay with it personally. Service only bad thing, took 30 40 minutes when there was only one other party in the restaurant
First of all Google Maps takes you to the wrong plaza where the 168 Market is but it's actually The Valley Square Plaza next to it. Parking was decent there's a big lot in the back with plenty of spaces. We came here on a Sunday around 1pm and got seated right away but started filling up shortly. My bf and I both got a free Thai tea with check in which was nice. He ordered the Kai's white which was a garlic butter base and I got the black with was a black garlic oil with no scallions and added a side of corn. They both came with pork belly, half a soft boiled egg, kikurage mushrooms, scallions and crispy onions. We both thought portion size was just right. We finished and felt just full enough so not hungry but not hurting. The broth was rich and delicious. I liked the white better I think cuz of the butter flavor so I would order again but the pork was probably the star. It was super tender and flavorful. I would say it didn't get 5 stars as the service was a little slow and I thought that the toppings were a little pricey. $2 for a small side of corn seems excessive. But we'd definitely still come back.
Not a bad place to grab Ramen with average Tsukemen. Parking is fine, the plaza is pretty big with a Supermarket. I was able to park near the restaurant without too much trouble. Went on a Wednesday afternoon for a quick lunch. Place was pretty empty, with only one person serving. Ordered the Tsukemen and the portion felt well sized. Presentation was solid. Came with eggs and two thick pieces of pork. Both were super enjoyable. The broth was not bad either, with some bits of pork in it. I'd prefer the broth to be a bit thicker. However, the noodles were pretty hard to eat, they stuck together and it was hard to grab them to dip. The broth coated the soup fine once I got them to separate though. Giving the Tsukemen a 3/5. I'd give the Tsukemen a 3/5. Super average and not bad. It's satisfying, but won't blow you away. Hopefully next time I order the noodles are easier to eat!Great service. No complaints. 5/5 there. Overall, this place is a solid 4/5. If you're a local, it's gonna get the job done. Though there might be some better spots for Tsukemen if that's your interest.
Great ramen I ever have. The service is fast and the parking is always available. They use the special thin ramen that can make my red Kai to be very special. I'll be back the next time.
