Rennies at Acheron - ALEXANDRA

We had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant both as a couple and as part of a larger group. The food was delicious and the wine selection was excellent. It is recommended to book in advance as the restaurant is not always open. The host and table service were outstanding. Our travel dates were earlier than the standard selection, but we still had a great experience.

Happy to visit a family birthday at Rennies The food and service was great and so a nice host made us all feel good at home. The artworks and gardens were breathtaking, I felt a little rude to the other guests, as I didn't... away from hiking to admire the property with so much! Blessed, such a miracle full of Victoria and such a beautiful hostess and brilliant artists have experienced.. Food was plentiful and overwhelming choices presented beautiful buffet style. Would definately return for family gatherings or simply search for the fabulous art and gardens. Thank you for an experience always appreciate!

Marian Rennie's culinary experience at Rennies is truly extraordinary. The journey to the restaurant from Alexandra is just the beginning of an amazing dining experience. Situated between the old Goulburn river and its current path, the property offers stunning views of the Acheron Valley and the Dome area. The gardens at Rennies are a sight to behold, with their annual open gardens showcasing their beauty. The restaurant itself is adorned with Marian's unique artwork, adding to the overall ambiance. At Rennies, there are no menus or wine lists - Marian will personally cater to your food and drink preferences. The selection of dishes, whether from the garden or wood stove, is creative, well-presented, and delicious. Our recent private lunch at Rennies for my wife's 50th birthday was exceptional, and Marian went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience for all of us. As locals, Rennies is our go-to spot for special occasions and to impress out-of-town guests. This restaurant sets the bar high for dining experiences in Murrindindi and is a must-visit.

Celebrate my 50. Birthday at Rennies on Saturday with 24 families and friends. Marian couldn't impress (she never has), amazing food, friendly obligated staff, nothing was too much trouble, everyone had a wonderful time, you just can't go wrong with this place!

The garden is stunning and artwork amazing. This place has a atmosphere that is hard to find these days. A real treat for foodies that want to be surprised with flavor combinations from the garden. Well worth a visit!
