We were in town visiting family. Long before we headed out I placed an order with this place so that we could pick it up on our way home. I spoke clearly and even repeated myself to make sure the order was placed right. When we got there not only was the order wrong, they did not believe my partner when he informed them of their mistake. They decided to call me saying He says there were supposed to be two of this order . Which was a weird move because I 've never known a restaurant to call the original person that orders when it comes to adding items, especially when the person paying is right there. Another weird move was them making us wait by saying they would have the corrected order ready in 3-5 minutes when in actuality it ended up taking almost 30 minutes. We already weren 't even supposed to HAVE to wait and then you give us an incorrect lead time. To recap, we ordered two plates of wings with no sides, and now we have one order cold wings with a new order of wings on the way. We ultimately gave up on the fresh wings and requested a refund. They ended up handing us the fresh set of wings during the refund and sent us on our merry way. This came after blaming the cooks in the back all the while for their mistakes. Which was not a good look considering the demographic of the staff. Yikes. Not only did they waste our time, the server 's lack of accountability was infuriating. They never asked for clarification or gave the impression that they were confused, but the moment you call them out on a mistake its all taking orders through the phone is confusing, as if that is not your job! They literally didn 't even give the sauces that we asked for. Just a box of chicken. There were no apologies for wasting our time or even for messing up in the first and second place and third place. Just hands up It happens, Bro attitude while blaming everyone else. It 's obvious that the quality of customer service is not important and the staff that represents this business is a good reflection of their declining standards. Food was hot and plentiful, we did have a few minor regrets though. I bit into my rib sandwich only to discover the ribs still had bones in them. It would have been nice if they had served the sandwich with the bun to the side to prevent me from having any possible dental work. My husbands potato salad was rather bland, a bit of pickles or pickle juice added to it, with some smoked paprika, and some celery, or onion, diced up in it for texture would have brought it up to a whole new level. My guest ordered hot ribs, he barely had any heat. I checked the sauce myself, only a little heat at the back of the tongue. There was some Tabasco sauce and bottled peppers on the table in front, but he declined saying it just wasn't the same. Over all I think we will be back, but I would love to try some of their deserts, if only their entre items weren't so large, I might have room. Waited over 45 minutes just for an appetizer. Quesadillas are trash and the waitress wanted to argue saying nothing is wrong with them and they have been ordered “several” times and have had no complaints. All around terrible customer service skills and hospitality I am highly disappointed and would never recommend it Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Maybe avoid the patio but it's dog friendly and the food is delicious. Some of the best banana pudding and pecan pue I've ever had Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
