Always visited this restaurant when it was up the road gave 5* Now very small, busy but still vg value. We always get the tourist menu, but as the place is so small it has a limited selection, half a star off for this, the service is efficient, too efficient as when you finish your starter the main is given instantly which we found far too quick ,half a star off for this. I have read that they are looking for larger premises hopeful they will be successful. With this said it is still the best value in the Old Town.

This is a very small resturant the owner Lilly had until recently a bigger resturant further up the road under the same name but at the end of June due to hotel taking it back and giving just 8 days to get out it has now closed. The snack bar is trying to cope with demand of the amazing food that the old resturant use to provide with the size of the kitchen and resturant it's doing a good job. I'm afrade to say the premises are too small and this will not be to everyone's taste. The menu will need to be reduced as the staff will only be able to cope in this tiny kitchen for a short period. Lilly is looking for new premises and we real hope a new O Valerio lives on. Anyway we had a meal in the O Velerio snack bar and had a very nice meal and enjoyed it even though it's not the same as the original resturant we still felt very welcome.

Hi all I was in albufeira in September and found this little gem of a snack bar. It's owned by the same owners as the o Valerio restaurant which is just next door. If it's busy the service can be a bit slow but I didn't mind that as I enjoyed sitting and watching the people go by.its a very small place with only one person working filling the drinks and making the food but it's worth the wait. The beer is served in glasses straight out of the fridge or freezer so it was lovely and cold.The prices are cheap €2 for a pint €3 for a big glass of wine and €5.50 for burger chips and salad.I will definitely be back.

Well located with a great outdoor space,friendly stuff but not able to provide proper service . Good honest food coming from the kitchen and the outdoors grill , proper wine list and delicious desserts. Take cash as they do not accept cards
