We went through this restaurant by chance today, after the visit to the Monastery. We had a delicious lunch!. The menu is quite diversified and the ingredients are fresh. The restaurant is nicely furnished, extremely cleaned and the staff really welcoming. One of the best vegetarian/vegan place we have tried in Portugal!
Great little restaurant near Alcobaca Monastery, maybe about 50 meters at the back of the main road. The food is great (lots of vegetarian options if you’re looking for that), the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated (must have been one of the cleanest restaurant toilets we’ve been to in the whole of Portugal) and the two ladies that were working there on the day we visited were lovely. Definitely a place to try out if you’re looking for food in the area. We loved it!
We had visited the Mosterio and wanted a quick though late lunch. We wandered up a side street close by which looked attractive and had some boards for restaurants, we saw this little place and thought it looked attractive so went in and despite it being 3 in the afternoon and the chef having a quick bite to eat they said no problem and we then proceeded to eat an excellent meal. One of the best on our journey thus far. Salads they may have been, simple they were not and the starter we shared of spicy meatballs was excellent and despite being full I had to try the home made apple cake, I was hoping just to eat a little and leave the rest but no, it was far too good to leave! Oh and the service was excellent, friendly and fun with the odd comment from the chef as well.
Maravilhosa experiência nesse lugar... espero sempre voltar
