La Battigia - ALCAMO

I ve been to the marina a number of times but had never eaten here. On Wednesday we went in for a quick lunch and the pasta we chose was divine. Never had something so tasty. The setting is nice and the people working there are very welcoming

We arrived at this rather smart looking beach hotel and thought the restaurant was shut, it was 2.30pm and late season. I saw staff in the hotel reception and asked, yes of course you can eat here. We were the only people in the lovely dining room overlooking the sea, and didnt order very much, but it was beautifully and quickly served with no sulky looks about the modesty of our order. The beach was far the cleanest we saw in Sicily and the whole experience delightful.

Food was quite good here . Service could be improved,not really attentive enough ,we were left without desserts and coffee on a few occasions. However it is a pleasant place to eat .

I would like the location to be really beautiful: table near the pool, sea view, elegant environment. The restaurant is located inside a hotel and at the entrance, the receptionists accompany the table. Unfortunately, however, the indisputable beauty of the location is not proportional to the quality of the food offered. We took octopus salad, which was too tenacious, sogliola with clams (which unfortunately had some sand) and fish cous cous. All accompanied by fresh white wine. I'm really sorry, but you have to raise the standard!

Wonderful location! Restaurant by the sea!!! Fresh fish menu with a lot of choice! all very good!!! The service is impeccable. all the staff very professional has satisfied every our need in a flash!!! Congratulations to all the staff and a special thank you to save and benny who were super professional and made us spend a very pleasant evening. Recommended!!! !
