Bidrage med feedbackI've been twice now, and both times had the same server, a delightful young woman named Caroline. She was extremely pleasant and always had good suggestions for both beer and food. Both times I had the fish and chips, but I tried my in-laws' food the second time. The MIL had the corned beef and cabbage, the FIL had the shepherd's pie. Both were great. The fish and chips were fantastic both times. I've tried the Kill or be Kilt locally brewed scotch ale, and I loved it. Their stout is probably my favorite though. Deep, dark, hints of coffee, and not overly potent. Definitely coming back to try some other stuff.
We were trying to hit all the breweries in abq. This one was a big surprise to me. Beer was awesome they have plenty of good choices. The food was great. Better than usual bar food. We started off with the nachos and the plate was massive. More than enough to feed 4 people. I had the shepherds pie and it was great. The service was really good. Fun atmosphere and great beer. I?d go back anytime
I have been craving a great Celtic food lineup with great beer pairings and I've finally found it! Tried the Trio of Celtic Faire and a Scotch Ale, it was delicious! Best I've had in a long while. Highly recommend!
Stopped in for an early dinner. I ordered Poutine (minus the goat cheese) add green chili and corned beef. Food was off the hook! Hot, fresh, tender corned beef. Paired with Becca?s Brew (unfiltered red IPA) full bodied with a smooth IPA finish that doesn?t linger too long. My waiter was Dominic, friendly, professional and attentive. Highly recommend this gem, opened at this location in 2019. Spread the word, this pub is phenomenal!
I recently tried the fish fry at a restaurant on the second Friday of Lent. I ordered the fish and chips dinner, which was quite good. They offered the option of a full or half order (1-2 pieces), and since I was hungry, I went for the full order. The batter was nicely done and the fish actually looked like a filet. The beer selection was a pleasant surprise, all brewed locally. I tried the Mac Lomas stout, which was a close second to my favorite Guinness. I definitely recommend giving it a try. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at the bar with its dark wood decor. The bar area is small with only about 10 seats and the stools seemed a bit high, but I managed to handle the challenge. Overall, a great dining experience.
