Terry Street Take Away - ALBION PARK

Recently taken over by a lovely and kind man. He was very honest and friendly. The food was sooooo good and fresh. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Like Arnie said “I’ll be back” yum yum

Ordered a hamburger with egg, cheese and bbq sauce. Paid extra for the egg and cheese. Arrived home and unwrapped my burger to find no cheese and no egg. When I called the shop and explained what happened the young person that answered said they’d get the boss. I could hear them in the background arguing about the hamburger I orderedthis was the adults not the young shop assistant. The so called “boss” had no intention of taking the call. It was suggested that I come back to the shop, not likely when I don’t live in the same suburb as the shop. Not impressed and after 15 years of going to this place (with the previous owners) I won’t be going here again.

I spent $8.50 on a large order of chips to feed 4 people for lunch, but was disappointed to find that the portion was actually only enough to feed barely 2 people. The customer service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I placed an order over the phone, and when I arrived to find 3 burgers missing, I asked for everything to be remade fresh since it was a significant amount of food costing $50. The young male employee responded rudely and only agreed to remake the order after I mentioned I was pregnant. As I left the store, I could hear a young female employee yelling abuse at me from behind the counter. When I confronted her, she excused her behavior by blaming a bad phone line, but I explained that it was not my responsibility to fix and that it was unprofessional to treat customers this way. Our family will not be returning to this restaurant, and I advise others not to demand what they paid for here, as you may be verbally attacked and made to feel like you've done something wrong.

Take Away Fish Chips and most other crumbed or battered seafood variety or large range of burgers etc. All good and price very reasonable. One negative ..... the batter is nice but could be less (thinner) as food servings are large. Enjoyed and will return. Parking: Adequate but be careful entering or leaving the mini shopping area just off the very busy Terry Street. Service: Take out
