Pizzeria Lo Stivale - ALBEROBELLO

After a long day travelling from Scotland we were so happy to see this restaurant still open on our late arrival in Coreggia. Lovely freshly made pizzas and great service in a traditional family pizzeria.

Lovely place for a takeaway pizza in the middle of a thunder storm. We ordered 3 different pizzas, all of which were excellent. Quick and friendly service with pizza being made in front of you. Little English spoken but easy to point. I would recommend to anyone staying close by.

This little pizzeria was 15 minutes walk from where we stayed. We decided one evening to go. It 's a family run business dad makes the pizza, mum makes all the other dishes and the daughters wait at tables. The tables are in the garden though they have a large seating area in the house. It is charmingly rustic but the food is superb and NOT expensive. Great menu with plenty of choices. I have a garlic allergy> having explained this to one of the daughter 's the mum made a pasta dish from scratch (she makes her own pasta) and presented this to me! I felt so honoured. We visited again and would have gone a 3rd time but it was thundering. As someone else wrote , this is an understated gem . PLEASE go here if you are in the area. BTW it is shut on Monday and they do a carry out service as well.

A prima vista, ti chiedi dove hai finito. ma poi ci ripensi. trattoria tipica tutto molto buono sia il primo che il secondo, ma su richiesta del dessert il proprietario si ubriaca in specialità fantastiche. Congratulazioni.
