Mr. Shawarma - Airdrie

Golfed with my Pal in Carstairs on the way back to Calgary he says we got hit Mr. Shawarma. If you say so, I mean how much of a big deal can this be. It was Huuuge! 2 on a Friday afternoon & the guy was swamped & were talking take-out. Shortly after that Boss/Joe arrives & whipped things back to shape. Did a medium chicken Shwarm $8.50 & all I could do to down it. Out golfing the following week & not hard to take another detour later in the day & had a chance to chat Joe up. Secret they do the chicken in a brine for a day or 2 moist baby. I told Joe I had to come back as that is the best I have ever had. He was grateful & appreciated it. He also takes this very serious My name is on it! Generous portions good prices I really have to try something other then the chicken but Dang! No problem making a road trip for this grub

We were driving home from a ski trip & stopped by. This was THE BEST DONAIR I HAVE EVER HAD ! The regular size was HUGE ! Staff was friendly. Will definately make this a regular stop to & from the mountains.

The Shawarma are the best! Joe is friendly, funny, and a dear heart! I always have the chicken shawarma- there is enough for 2 meals. The fillings are always fresh and tasty.

I tried to go here for lunch with my family one day. When we got into the store there was no staff at all. We waited 10 minutes and as we were walking out, someone reappeared behind the counter but we decided to go elsewhere. It also wasn't super clean inside, which influenced our choice to leave.

Loved everything I have ever eaten there. Great food and friendly, hard working staff. The place is on the small size but you can take your food out.
