Northern - Aberdeen City

Just back from a wonderful afternoon, having the Christmas Day menu at the Northern Bar. Food was good, hard working staff were absolutely brilliant we were warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped in and were looked after beautifully. Thanks so much Katia staff we will be returning on our next visit to the Granite City.

I made a reservation for 10 people for Saturday lunch and was asked if we wanted the festive menu. I was told that if we wanted the festive menu, we needed to inform them the day before so that the food could be defrosted. The staff mentioned that the only fresh items available were vegetables. I believe the staff need better training as I have been to this restaurant many times but I do not plan on returning.

A group of us stopped by for drinks and ended up ordering some appetizers for the table. Everything was excellent. The service was spot on too, very quick. Thanks to the staff from the North.

Had a great Katsu curry and a couple of pints, Sam was super attentive checking everything was alright with our food. Felt very welcome and will definitely be coming back.

Popped in for Sunday Roast since its back on the menu it didn't disapoint! Portions were good piping hot. Well done to Stuart the chef! We'll have the same again same time next Sunday
