Bidrage med feedbackRecently, I received a recommendation for delicious pork cutlet curry and one of the shops that was suggested was here! Located in Yamamine-cho, "Popai". Exposed to the sea breeze, the shop looks quite weathered, but they are open for business with high spirits! The pork cutlet curry (800 yen) has thin pork cutlets that are crispy when fried. The curry is cooked slowly, allowing the ingredients to melt into the beef curry. There are two levels of spiciness available, normal and spicy. This time, I tried the normal one. The spicy level is described as "(quite spicy)" on the menu. I wonder how spicy it really is... (I didn't want to risk it this time because I wanted to enjoy the meal) It was delicious.
I ordered the hamburger curry. The curry was spicy and the hamburger was juicy, with the meat juices overflowing. It was very satisfying in terms of portion size and flavor, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet, and time seemed to flow very slowly. The fact that they played the radio instead of TV gave it a retro feel. The yakisoba my mother ordered was seasoned with dashi soy sauce instead of sauce and was delicious. Revisiting is a definite decision!
The taste is subjective, so please try it yourself. This time I had the katsu-don half ramen set, and next time I plan to try the curry set. The katsu was thinly sliced and just right for me. The soy sauce ramen had a light and refreshing flavor.
