I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail when it comes to the meat dishes at this restaurant, as everything I tried was truly delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side, with a good balance of salt and miso. While the beef tongue was highly recommended in reviews, it had a good thickness and no unpleasant smell. It was tender and without any gristle, although it took a bit of time to cook, the taste was surprisingly good. The kimchi is homemade, pickled by the owner's mother. She is a great conversationalist, down-to-earth, and her friendly demeanor makes dining here a pleasant experience. I also recommend the cherry blossom Yukke and the sirloin steak, as well as the regular bibimbap which is not in a stone pot, but still enticing with the aroma of sesame oil. After the state of emergency was lifted, the seating on the aisle side changed from cushions to low chairs, and the plates were replaced with ones that complimented the color of the meat better. The tongs were also changed to ones that do not touch the table. Honestly, I don't really mind about the plates being changed, considering the extra effort it takes to clean them, but the attitude of considering the customer's experience is appreciated. I will definitely be coming back again.
You can enjoy Hitachi beef at a reasonable price! The meat is delicious, and they also offer homemade cabbage kimchi, cold noodles that you can eat easily even when you're full, and most importantly, rice cooked with great care! It's a popular restaurant with many repeat customers.
