Bidrage med feedbackI was in Takayama and looking for a solo dining experience. I stumbled upon this small restaurant and by the end of the night, I knew I had found a hidden gem. Satoshi took care of me and the other diners, creating a great atmosphere for all. The ingredients are fresh from his farm (he loves to show them off on Instagram) and the meals were made even more delicious when paired with the extensive selection of sake. They even serve wild game meat here. If you're looking to take your time and enjoy a unique dining experience, be sure to find this place and treat yourself.
The burgers (made from boar meat), carbonara (with boar bacon), and skewers of bear and deer meat were all fantastic. The flavors were amazing! Definitely a must-try when visiting Takayama!
This was the best meal I have ever had in Japan. The fresh, organic vegetables and flavorful mushrooms were grown by the chef himself. The Hida beef was delicious. We had a wonderful conversation about food, health, and customs in our respective countries. Have you tried the 'stoofvlees' recipe I shared with you? It was a truly enjoyable and enriching experience for me, and I would love to visit again if I ever return to Takayama.
